It is a three day course, recently mandated by the SACAA for all engineers in the aviation industry in South Africa, covering the impact of the Human Factor in air accidents.The three day course includes The Error Chain, strategies to manage Human Error, Vision and Hearing implications, information processing, risk assessment, social psychology together with cultural issues and team work.  This course has received excellent feedback from all participants.

Engineers

The Human Factor for Air Maintenance Engineers training program is specifically designed for Aviation Maintenance Personnel and focuses on the human factor applicable to this role. Human errors made by aircraft maintenance personnel



This training is designed to help maintenance personnel develop or reinforce attitudes, skills and procedures, which will ultimately assist in protecting them in their responsibility and accountability on the job.

It is important to acknowledge that the human factor in aircraft maintenance is well researched. Common problem areas are identified and applicable throughout the world.
