Michaelmas College is a private company that trains nurses and social auxiliary workers, provisionally registered with Department of Higher Education and accredited with the South African Nursing Council and the Health and Welfare Seta.
Michaelmas College has four campuses in KwaZulu-Natal, one in the Western Cape and one in Gauteng.
Requirements:
Registered nurse
- Computer literacy (NQF3)
- Mathematical Literacy level (NQF 3)
- Communication skills (NQF level 4)
Midwifery Course:
- General Nurse Certificate
- Standard 10 / Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Application Forms attainable from any of our campuses
- Fill out and submit together with supporting documents
- Written competency test, if successful shortlisted for 3 week RPL course
- Candidates with a pass rate of at least 60% will be absorbed into training for Midwifery on a sliding scale basis
- Accepting letter, Acknowledgement of Debt and Terms and conditions of Cancellation or withdrawal to be issued to successful applicants
- Registration two months prior to commencement of training
General Nurse – Bridging Course EN to RN:
- Enrolled Nurse Certificate
- Standard 10 / Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification may apply
- Application Forms attainable from any of our campuses
- Fill out and submit together with supporting documents
- Written competency test, if successful shortlisted for 3 week RPL course
