BRIDGING COURSE FOR ENROLLED NURSES LEADING TO REGISTRATION AS A GENERAL NURSE (R683)

General Nurse – Bridging Course EN to RN:

o Enrolled Nurse Certificate

o Standard 10 / Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification may apply

o Application Forms attainable from any of our campuses

o Fill out and submit together with supporting documents

o Written competency test, if successful shortlisted for 3 week RPL course

o Candidates with a pass rate of at least 60% will be absorbed into training for General Nurse (Bridging) on a sliding scale basis

o Accepting letter, Acknowledgement of Debt and Terms and conditions of Cancellation or withdrawal to be issued to successful applicants

o Registration two months prior to commencement of training

Programme Commencement:

The course commences TWICE annually in :

January & June.

Duration Of Course:

It takes two (2) years on a fulltime basis.

Duration can also exceed 2 years depending on learners performance and meeting the minimum SANC Requirements

DIPLOMA IN MIDWIFERY FOR REGISTRATION AS A MIDWIFE (R254)

Midwifery Course:

o General Nurse Certificate

o Standard 10 / Grade 12 / Matric / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification

EXPERTISE AND FORMAT OF TRAINING:

Michaelmas College draws its capacity from diverse experience and expertise of its facilitators and lecturers gained mainly through formal training and partnerships with individuals in both the private and public organizations and institutions of higher learning with relevant experience and expertise required by a particular project, to ensure that the expected outputs are achieved thereby promoting relevance and maximum return on investment. Our Training Facilities include: Classrooms, libraries, computer labs and well-equipped skills labs. We have also partnered with Public and Private institutions for work experience purposes
