ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF WITWATERSRAND

Popularly referred to as the WITS, the University of Witwatersrand is multi-faceted. With research as the anchor of this prestigious institution of higher learning, you are set for a 21st Century learning experience in the northern parts of Johannesburg.

To apply to WITS, you will go through five steps.

Step 1: You will have to choose your program of interest



Step 2: Upload your supporting documents

Step 3: Pay your application fee

Step 4: Submit your application

Step 5: You can now access the self-service portal

ADMISSION PROCESS

APPLICATION OPEN AND CLOSE DATES:

Applications would normally open in May and close on June 30 for Science Courses and September 30 for all other programs.

APPLICATION FEE:

Application fee of R 100 for South African students and R 700 for international students is required

NBT REQUIREMENTS:

Most Universities in South Africa require you to take the NBT exams before applying.
