ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF FREE STATE

Being set us as an institution of higher learning section of the then Grey College way back in 1904, the prestigious University located in the city regarded as the head of all legal happenings in South Africa, you are set for a wonderful experience in this assorted-campus based University in Bloemfontein.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

To apply for admission to the University of Free State you have to first decide which of the campuses you would want to study. They are Bloemfontein, South and Qwaqwa campuses.

UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

You need an NSC or its equal prerequisite that is verified for a first-degree course.
You must meet all the minimum requirements
The minimum requirements include at least 4 (50%) in the language in which your chosen course will be taught
Depending on your course of study, you will have to pass certain subjects. For example, if you are applying for any of the science courses, you must have a 70% mark for Maths at your Grade 12 examinations.
