Lecturers Recognised For Excellence in Teaching
Varsity College Sandton recently hosted the Lecturers Awards Breakfast in recognition of lecturers who have made outstanding contributions to Teaching and Learning at Varsity College Sandton in the 2013 academic year. Elaine Dick, lecturing on the UNISA Bachelor of Education (Foundation Phase) qualification, was awarded the Best National Pass Rate certificate. Dick received the accolade on the basis of her outstanding 100% Distinction rate for one of the teaching practice module. Her students were the best performing students among all Varsity College campuses in the 2013 academic year for that module. She was lauded for her dedication and determination in enhancing the learning experience and for her commitment to support students in their journey to becoming teaching professionals.
