UKZN Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership Course
Objectives
The programme is ideally suited for working professionals in organisational leadership positions, who are required to work in the dynamic complex environment of contemporary Africa and its transition agenda. The programme is aligned with the School’s mission to create African Business Leaders through fostering and facilitating the economic development of our country and our continent. It also supports the School’s vision of promoting excellence in the field of management studies congruent with the needs of business, industry, commerce and government in order to enable our students to compete favourably and equitably on local, national and international job markets. The programme aims to develop students academically and professionally so that they can make a positive contribution to the South African economy and the continent’s prosperity. The programme will also serve as a bridging programme to the Masters of Commerce in Leadership studies and related management fields.
Programme teaching method
The programme is offered over a two-year period on a part-time, block release method. Students are required to attend a full week (8h00 – 16h00) per module. Four modules are to be completed in Year 1 and three modules in Year 2.

Eligibility
The minimum admission requirement is an appropriate Bachelor’s Degree or an appropriate Advanced Diploma.
We do not have 2nd semester intake.
