REMARKS
a. Admission requirement(s):
A Baccalaureus Technologiae: Language Practice, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) (Languages),
or an equivalent qualification. Candidates should have passed Research Methodology
before registration. They should also be aware that admission is not open-ended, and that
it will largely be influenced by, but not limited to, supervision capacity within the Department.
b. Selection criteria:
Departmental selection is required prior to registration. Additional requirements may be set
to obtain the required status.
c. Duration:
A minimum of one year and a maximum of three years.
d. Presentation:
Research.
e. Dissertation:
A candidate for the Magister Technologiae: Language Practice has to submit a dissertation
on a language-related topic approved by the Faculty Board on recommendation of the Head
of the Department. More information may be obtained from the Head of the Department.
