South Cape College strives to provide high-quality education and training to help you equip yourself with the qualifications and skills you need to start out a chosen career path. We also work closely with players and stakeholders from various industries to help fulfil the great need that exists for trained, skilled and qualified employees through customized education and training programmes.
National Certificate Vocational:
Since the beginning of 2007 all public FET (now TVET) Colleges, (50 countrywide), offer the unique and modern designed National Certificate Vocational programmes. These high quality skills and knowledge programmes are offered in conjunction with suitable practical experience and exposure to the world of work, thus equipping students with relevant and focused qualifications
The programmes were designed to address the skills gaps and the needs of both Industry and Business.
The National Certificate Vocational (NCV) is offered on levels 2, 3 and 4 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
This qualification is an alternative choice for Grade 9 learners to move into a vocational field instead of purely academics. Opportunities for advancement to higher education studies exist, subject to appropriate subject combinations.
