When do students graduate?
Each year, we hold the majority of our graduation ceremonies in May and October.
Monash South Africa Graduation 20172018, All of the Australian ceremonies are held at Clayton campus.
We also hold December ceremonies at Clayton for:
- Medicine students, and
- International students.
Other ceremonies are held in China and Malaysia.

South Africa
Graduation ceremonies in South Africa will be held on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 April. These ceremonies are only for students from this campus.
You must apply to graduate during your final semester of study. Apply before the closing date of 29 November . We will not accept late applications.
You can choose to:
- attend a ceremony at the Monash South Africa campus; or
- graduate in absentia (not attend the ceremony).
