Majuba College Open Learning offers open learning programs.
The Open Learning Unit came into being in January 2003 to service an ever growing need to provide services to people who could not attend full-time classes. This unit offers all the diploma courses on Business and Engineering studies on part-time basis.
This includes information packs, contact sessions and lecturer support through the course. Evening classes for all the above
courses are dependant on demand.
Computer literacy courses are offered at very affordable prices.
Most recently the Open Learning Unit affiliated themselves with Assessment College of South Africa to offer assessor training. Assessment College has been servicing the corporate sector for over ten years. They are a quality driven organization with ISO 9000 accreditation and a record of excellent service.
It is in the pipeline to introduce Financial and Business Management as evening classes. These are National Diploma Courses with Umalusi accreditation. It would be ideal for people in these sectors to takeadvantage of this opportunity to acquire a National Diploma in eighteen months. The other eighteen months would be in-service training which most employees are already receiving.
This unit specifically caters for Business and Industry.
