Mlumati Campus

Mlumati Campus is situated in a rural area called Kamhlushwa about 35 kilometers from Malelane. It was named after the Mlumati river which passes near the township.

The campus was built in 1979. The first students were admitted in 1980. Only engineering studies was offered. The first manager who was then called the rector was Mr H Human, his deputy was Mr K v.d Merwe and there were five staff members. In 1982 Mr K v.d Merwe succeeded Mr Human as the manager of the campus.

The Business studies were introduced. In 1983 the staff increased to 11 staff members. Dr S.P Qwabe took over as the manager in 1994. in July 2004 Dr G.M Sibiya was appointed campus manager of the campus since Dr S.P Qwabe was appointed CEO of Nkangala FET College. Mr M.J Pilson and Mrs M Vermaak are the staff members with the longest service in the campus and they are still working at the campus.
Currently the campus has a total of 1276 students.
