Mapulaneng Campus history
Mapulaneng campus, formerly Mapulaneng Technical College was officially opened in 1987 as a technical institute offering block release courses in the Engineering trades from N1-N3 (Electrical, Mechanical and Civil ). It later offered courses in Business studies in Introductory N4- N6 and Hospitality services.
Mapulaneng campus was one of the merger campus to Mopani South East TVET College in the Limpopo Province, became part of Ehlanzeni TVET after Bohlabela (Bushbuckridge) region was incorporated into Mpumalanga province. This campus is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Mpumalanga Province adjoining the world renowned Kruger National Park and Drakensburg mountains. The economy of this areas centres around agriculture, forestry and tourism. The campus is therefore strategically situated to provide much needed education and training support for these major industries.
At present it offers both National Vocational Certificate (NCV) and Report 191 (N-courses) programmes in Business management, Hospitality and Engineering studies. The Campus has been accredited to offer Practical Skills programs by Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) to offer Welding, Electrical, Plumbing and Panel beating (Motor Bodywork Repair). The Campus expanding rapidly in the number of students registration from around two-hundred and fifty in the early nineties to the current enrolment of over one thousand and seven hundred students.

Nelspruit Campus
Nelspruit Campus is situated close to the centre of Nelspruit and on the Maputo corridor. The campus originated from the merger of Technical Colleges. The campus was previously Nelspruit Technical College and was a State aided College. Originally this campus offered Business Studies only, and peaked at approximately 300 students because of lack of lecturing rooms. When engineering Studies was introduced due to numerous enquiries from the communities, companies and business sector in and around Nelspruit, we had to build new lecture rooms. Currently the campus seat 1571 students

The campus is a product of OR Thambo’s hands. Then campus started in 1990 as an NGO known as Foundation for Education with Production (FEP) under the guidance of the Youth Education Trust. It was a model of Botswana, Tanzania and Zimbabwe with accreditation from British O Level curriculum. The nature of the courses was half-day study and half-day practical work.

Mlumati Campus is situated in a rural area called Kamhlushwa about 35 kilometers from Malelane. It was named after the Mlumati river which passes near the township.
The campus was built in 1979. The first students were admitted in 1980. Only engineering studies was offered. The first manager who was then called the rector was Mr H Human, his deputy was Mr K v.d Merwe and there were five staff members. In 1982 Mr K v.d Merwe succeeded Mr Human as the manager of the campus.

KaNyamazane Campus
KaNyamazane Campus is one of the campuses that falls under the Ehlanzeni TVET College. From 1986 to 2004 the campus was a Technical Centre and it was a satellite to the then Nelspruit Technical College. All its affairs were controlled by the Nelspruit Technical College. The Campus gained its independence status in july 2004 when it became on of Ehlanzeni TVET College campuses.
Currently the campus has a total of 861 students.
