Course Introduction

During this course you will gain knowledge of different aspects of ownership of movables and conveyancing deals with the transfer of immovable property such as houses, land and apartments. This course focuses on title deeds, mortgage bonds and sectional titles.

Programme Type

The DCC Property Law and Conveyancing Short Course Certificate is part of the DCC Career Booster series. The DCC Property Law and Conveyancing Short Course Certificate is a DCC short course, which is not an accredited NQF qualification. This programme has been approved by the Damelin Correspondence College Academic Board.

Programme Duration

You should be able to complete each short course within 12 months.

Entrance Requirements

Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3 years).

Student Assessment

All assignments are optional, but you will need to write and pass one formal examination. Please note that examinations are written in June and October/November of each year. You must complete an examination entry form and submit it to the College, together with the prescribed examination fee before the closing date for the next examination.

Please note that the examination fee is not included in your tuition fee. 

Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive your DCC Property Law and Conveyancing Short Course Certificate.
