Programme Duration

You should be able to complete this course within 24 months.

Entrance Requirements

Communication and Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 4 and Computing skills at NQF Level 3.

Student Assessment

Formative and summative assessments will assess all specific outcomes and adhere to all assessment criteria of the learning programme. A practical assessment will be conducted to determine whether the exit level outcomes have been achieved.

All students are encouraged to work on all the assignments that are in the study guide. However, students are required to submit compulsory assignments that are provided in the Study Programme. Only these compulsory assignments will be marked and accounted for to be included in the final mark.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the programme, students will receive an DCC results letter outlining the unit standards covered. Once you have been found competent for all modules and unit standards, DCC will apply to SASSETA on the student’s behalf for the National Certificate: Paralegal Studies: SAQA ID 49597 (Credits 132) to be awarded.
