The Graphic Design Course is an Adobe Certified Expert qualification on Adobe Photoshop CS6. Becoming an Adobe Certified Expert gives you advanced skills recognized and respected by employers. By proving your expertise with Adobe solutions, you demonstrate your commitment to advancing your skills and taking on greater challenges.

Certification exams are computer-delivered, clock-book tests consisting of 60-90 multiple choice questions. Each exam takes one to two hours to complete, and results are given to you at the testing centre immediately after you finish.

 



PROGRAM COMPOSITION (SUBJECTS)

  • For Adobe Photoshop CS6 ACE, the following objectives are covered in the course:
  • *Managing Assets Using Adobe Bridge
    *Using Camera Raw
    *Understanding Photoshop Fundamentals
    *Understanding Selections
    *Understanding Layers

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

A senior certificate or an appropriate National Certificate (N3), or a National Senior Certificate, or an equivalent qualification.

Relevant work experience will also be considered.

DURATION

The duration of the course is 6 months full time and 9 months part-time.

 

ASSESSMENT

There will be a final computer-based exam at the end of the course. The exam will be delivered by ACE and the qualification will be issued from ADOBE CERTIFIED.

The learner will be prepared for the final exam by perfoming exam simulations in the computer lab, which will count as an assessment tool for the learner and lecturer.
