They have tenacity, endurance and the will and enthusiasm to succeed. The National N-Diploma: Business Management includes the N4 – N6 Certificates that enable students to use the business skills and knowledge learned to pursue a career in Entrepreneurship, run their own businesses, or work in a retail, wholesale or generic management environment.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT N6 (6 MONTHS)

• Sales Management N6

• Cost and Management Accounting N5

• Public Relations N6

Note: After completing the N6 Certificate, students need to complete 18 months of practical experience in their area of study to obtain a National N-Diploma.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

For N4 – Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent

  •  For N5 – successful completion of N4
  •  For N6 – successful completion of N5

DURATION

The duration of each level is 6 months.

Therefore a SEMESTER timetable is followed enabling the successful learner to accumulate TWO national certificates during the course of ONE year.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

After successfully completing the N6 course and a 18-month in-service training period spent in an environment relevant to the qualification, the student can apply for the National Diploma in Business Management.

 

ASSESSMENT

The pass requirement is a minimum of 40% per subject. Evaluations are cumulative, based on regular class tests and practical testing. At the end of each semester a NATIONAL external examination is written.

SEMESTER FEES

The fees include all study guides, assignments, assessments and examination fees. They do not include practical sessions and prescribed text books.
