A CUT MTech degree does not consist of “subjects”. It is purely research-based, and requires students to complete a full research dissertation as well as a module in Research Methodology (if you have not done it previously).
How long do you have to complete the study
Students have to complete their studies within a period of 4 years.
Requirements
As per the CUT Calendar, you need the following to qualify for MTech studies

- The most recent academic record.
- A typed proposal of at least one page on the planned research project.
- Word document, Arial 12, 1.5 spacing.
- If there is more than one possible topic, please submit all ideas.
Submission Date
Given the prestige of these qualifications and limited supervisors, all applications must be submitted by 31 August each year.
