​Informatics, a field of study that educates students on how to develop and merge a computer solution (Information systems) within the organisation, which could improve the organisation’s competitiveness, efficiency and effectiveness on the local and global platform. Informatics is a niche area between what Information Technology (IT) currently has to offer and what organisations want to have in order to gain an advantage above their competition.
​Business analysis, System analysis and IT Project Management principles and methodologies will drive a project from its initial state of uncertainty, through a clearly defined and agreed upon set of requirements, to an information system which would solve specific organisational problem(s). On completion of this qualification, students will be able to provide the needed knowledge and skills to function as business/system analyst; project manager and database administrator, within any organisation.
