There is a need for a new cohort of professionals whose education and training has prepared them to fully contribute in bringing appropriate technology and skills to the Building Science discipline. Within this context, the Department of Building Science offers two accredited programmes in Quantity Surveying and Construction Management. These programmes are exclusive and unique due to the cutting-edge information technology applications emphasis. This blend offers our graduates an all-inclusive foundation for victory.

We have close ties with The South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP), Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS), the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP), and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
