6th to 9th November 2018
London, United Kingdom
Description (Per conference’s website)
Once again our conference circuit includes a multidisciplinary conference in Europe’s largest city. And it’s not just a conference in London and its far-flung outskirts but in the very heart of London. The delegates will experience first-hand the City of London. They will also have the opportunity to visit the world-famous University of Oxford and University of Cambridge, free of charge. Our IJAS team will ensure that over the four days, the delegates will experience an unforgettable immersion in English academia’s highest echelons. With so much to offer, this conference will attract academics from all over the world.
Beyond the immediate conference premises, the range of free London attractions is beyond anything we have ever encountered for our IJAS conferences elsewhere. As someone pointed out, “Where else in the world can you see so much without spending a penny?” From London’s exquisite parks, to world-class museums, historic houses and stunning art galleries, click here for a multi-page list of free London attractions.
“When a man is tired of London,” wrote Samuel Johnson, “he is tired of life, for there is in London all that life can afford.” The great Ethiopian road running athlete, Haile Gebrselassie, expressed it more bluntly: “When we race in London, a world record will be the last thing on our minds.”
Given the excellent transport facilities which will allow our delegates to visit various places of interest within London with great ease and on their own, we will be conducting our cultural and educational bus programs to places outside London.
