Oval International was founded in 1989 by Pravin and Geetha Maharaj as an institution for technology and computer education for the people of South Africa. With campuses now in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pietermaritzburg and Durban, Oval has since opened a matric school in Durban and also offers Oval Learning Media study guides to assist learners during their final year of school.
With international affiliates – such as the University of Oxford and the World Association of Co-operative Education (WACE) – Oval focuses on experiential learning, strong student support and recognition of the power of education for empowering society.
