Better Best Educational Projects (Pty) Ltd is registered with the Department of Education as an adult training centre as well as an examination centre for national examinations.
In 1996 we identified the need for a private technical college in Tzaneen and a campus was established with the same emphasis and quality education as at our head office. The branch is registered as an examination centre for national examinations.
In 1999, Better Best Educational Projects (Pty) Ltd was registered as a learning centre for the University of Pretoria. Better Best Educational Projects (Pty) Ltd started to provide telematic services to University of Pretoria. The services provided, includes facilities to “distance learning students” to attend classes at Better Best through satellite and registering students for the relevant programmes. Better Best Educational Projects (Pty) Ltd t also receives payment, transfers it to the University and acts as examination centre for the University. Provides study material and receives assignments, which is forwarded to the University.
In 1999 the Better Best, Tzaneen satellite campus branch was registered as a learning centre for the University of Potchefstroom to provide the same services mentioned above for nursing students of this University.
In 2001 Better Best Educational Projects (Pty) Ltd Mokopane was registered as an examination centre for grade 12 students. The Tzaneen satellite campus branch was registered the same way in 2002. Since then, grade 12 examinations are conducted at both these branches.
In 2002 the school of Engineering was introduced in Mokopane and Tzaneen, offering the engineering and mining programmes from the N1 to N6.
Since the establishment of Better Best Educational Projects (Pty) Ltd in 1994, hundreds of students successfully completed their studies. They have received National Diplomas as well as National Certificates.
We also had students who combined matric subjects and N3 subjects passed at Better Best, to get a matric certificate.
In 2008, the NQF system was implemented and Better Best saw the opportunity to serve the communities in the regions that the campuses was located by applying for accreditation with the relevant Sectorial Education and Training Authorities (SETA) as was required by law. Soon after the first students was enrolled on these courses by partnering with other providers.
Due to the rapid growth that the company experience the directors felt that a proper international quality assuring standard should be followed. Better Best embarked on developing a quality assuring system that will enable us to provide speedy and accurate services. We have brought all our policies, procedures and other documentation in accordance to the ISO9001:2008 requirements.
